Feeding the hungry in downtown Seattle

It’s amazing to have churches surrounding you that all have a heart for reaching Seattle.  Friday night I was privileged to spend time with two churches, Souls Harbor and Port Orchard UPC feeding the hungry.   They have been doing this for four years now, handing out clothes and hygiene items to the needy and serving warm soup and chili.

Friday night I got to visit with the servers and also met a few Seattlites that are wanting to be a part of our weekly Bible Studies.  It was really amazing to be a part of.

The last Friday of every month, Refuge Seattle will be joining with Souls Harbor and Port Orchard UPC on Second and Pike.  You are more than welcome to join us.

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8 KJV)

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: “Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. (Matthew 25:34-36 KJV)
